How do I free up space in my account?

You can use the Disk Usage Viewer in the control panel to determine where your disk space is being used.

E-mail
E-mail space is seperate from your web hosting space. Often large e-mail attachments take up a lot of space that you could be using for your e-mail messages. You can go into your mail accounts using Webmail and clean out any old messages. Be sure to empty the trash in Webmail if you delete a lot of messages, so the extra disk space is actually freed up.

Optimize graphics, PDFs, and sound files
This is a bit more intensive strategy, but it can help reduce bandwidth as well as disk space. Make sure your PDFs are optimized for the web and not for print, and if your program doesn't make small PDFs try a different one. Finally, if you have sound files in .wav format consider compressing them into mp3s.
