How do I import an existing web app on my hosting account in to the Auto Installer?

While our Auto Installer makes installing new web applications simple, many users don't know that you can use it to upgrade applications that you installed yourself via our Auto installer. This guide shows you how to import your existing web application installation into our Auto Installer. This does not modify your site at all - it simply tells the Auto Installer about your application so that it can manage upgrades in the future.

1. Login in to your control panel and select "Auto Install Applications" link

2. If you are not taken there by default, click the Application Browser tab at the top of the page.

3. Select the application you wish to import. In this example, we will be importing Drupal.

4. Click on the import icon next to "Install this Application"

5. Click on import to begin the import process.

Note: The migrate button allows you to migrate a web app from another hosting company into your hosting account with us.

6. Enter information about your installation. If you installed your application in the home directory of /html you should leave the directory field blank. In the example below, drupal is installed in a sub folder called drupal like http://www.your-domaim.com/drupal, which via FTP would be /html/drupal.

7. And that's it! You will see the application you imported in to the "My Applications" tab and you are ready to upgrade!
