What is a NIC handle?
Posted by Support on 20 December 2007 02:20 AM

Every entity registered with InterNIC has a NIC handle. A NIC handle of contains a address and contact information, so that we need not enter this information each time a new domain name is registered. You can use the same NIC handle as contacts for several domains. This way, if you make a change to the NIC handle (i.e., the email address), all domains using that NIC handle will be updated as well.
